Mohamad Anas SARMINI, an associate professor of Islamic law with a great interest in Islamic finance, works at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University. He completed his master’s thesis in Theology at Damascus University in 2010 and his doctoral thesis in Islamic sciences at Jinan University in 2015. He has published his theses as books along with some other books and peer-reviewed articles in the fields of Islamic law, Makasid, Usul and Islamic economics. He gave academic lectures at Marmara University in Istanbul, Harvard University and Florida University in the USA, and Ritsumeikan University in Japan. He has worked as an expert, evaluator and consultant in many issues and theses in this field, with the advantage of having the notions of finance and Islamic law together.
